Who is behind Nurvo

Nurvo is software for workforce planning in healthcare. Nurvo builds rosters, records absence and fills the resulting gaps, and keeps the evidence of how much staff was actually deployed. Nurvo runs in the browser, on a manager's desktop and on a nurse's phone, with nothing to install.

Nurvo is built for three kinds of organisation: hospitals and clinics, nursing and care homes, and medical practices and MVZ. Planning happens per ward or per living area. That is the unit these organisations think in, and therefore also the unit Nurvo is priced in.

Nursing rosters in Germany are still built mostly in spreadsheets. That works for as long as nothing intervenes, and in a care setting something intervenes every day. When someone drops out the phone calls start, and whether the roster still complies with the Working Hours Act afterwards is nobody's certainty.

At the same time, evidencing how much staff was deployed became a duty with a deadline — under the PPBV for hospitals and § 113c SGB XI for long-term care. Reconstructing that from spreadsheets means reconstructing it retrospectively and imprecisely.

Nurvo joins the two: the roster the shift is staffed from is the data the evidence is built from. Keep the rules while planning, and the evidence is already complete at the end of the month.

Nurvo is developed in Germany and operated in Germany. Data sits on servers in Germany; particularly sensitive details such as bank accounts stay on the end device. What that means in detail is on the page about security and co-determination.

Nurvo is a young product. There are no customer numbers on this website, no awards and no comparisons with competitors, because there is nothing there we could evidence — and a claim that cannot be checked is worth less than none, particularly to the people who evaluate software for a hospital.

Two limits belong here too. Nurvo holds no ISO 27001 certification, and Nurvo does not certify that an organisation is compliant with the PPBV or § 113c SGB XI: it does the calculation and produces the documentation, while the legal assessment stays with the organisation.
